Course Description

Expanded coverage of regular expressions and grep. Advanced topics in Unix/Linux include egrep, find, sed, awk, file archiving, compression, and conversion, version control, makefile, basic shell scripts and installation of a Linux distribution.

CIS-018B-13Z: Fully ONLINE. This is an online lecture, laboratory class. The lecture meets each week as noted in the class listing. The laboratory does not have scheduled meetings and can be completed independently each week on the student's own time. Exams will occur during the lecture day/time, and these are monitored, online exams. Students must have access to a computer with a webcam, the internet, and an individual email address.
