Student Testimony

Eden Su

I was accepted at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania for the Fall 2008 where I am studying Finance and Management and pursue a career in Investment Banking.
As an international student from South Korea, my education in the United
States first started when I came to De Anza College about 2 years ago. My
experience at De Anza has helped me grow personally and professionally. In
addition to offering courses with much variety and depth, it fosters a
vibrant campus life. De Anza also provides various support programs that
aid students in reaching their academic goals.
One of them is the International Student Programs, which is fully equipped
with counselors and staff members who dedicate themselves to assisting
international students. Its office is a one-stop destination for anyone
who has questions about course selection, off-campus employment, and visa
application. Always so full of brightly colored candies and warm smiles,
the office was more than just an office.
I appreciate De Anza and the International Student Programs for providing
me with a strong foundation for an American university degree. I have met
numerous mentors and best friends there, and I continue to seek
inspiration from other people.
