Campus Abroad Financial Aid InformationStudents interested in a Campus Abroad Program are encouraged to apply early for financial aid. Because of extra costs associated with the trip, their eligibility for aid is increased. The first step for any Campus Abroad student interested in financial aid is to complete the FAFSA. The FAFSA is available in paper form in the Financial Aid Office or online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. If you are a De Anza student, list De Anza College code #004480. Foothill College students should list Foothill College, code #001199. Continuing students are encouraged to apply for the current year and the coming year to maximize available aid. Approximately three weeks later, application data will be available to the Financial Aid Office. That is the best time to schedule an appointment to discuss your eligibility so that you can make plans for your trip. At De Anza College make your appointment with Cindy Castillo. At Foothill College, contact Kevin Harral at the Financial Aid Office. We have state and federal financial aid programs to offer (Pell Grant, SEOG Grant, Perkins Loan, Stafford Loan, PLUS Parent Loans, Federal Work-Study, Cal Grants, EOPS Grant, and BOG Fee Waivers). Assistance is available to low-, middle- and upper-income students/families. Campus Abroad students receive individualized treatment because we want to do everything we can to make this wonderful international experience possible. You'll find out more about upcoming Foothill-De Anza Campus Abroad opportunities on the Campus Abroad Web site. |
