Assistive Computer Technology

Computer Access Lab

Assistive technology courses are taught in the Computer Access Lab located in the Advanced Technology Center. Assistive technology tools are available for student use in the lab.

De Anza provides assistive technology and software throughout our campus.

The Library (Learning Center) has several accessible computer workstations available for use by students with disabilities.  There are two adjustable stations to the left of the center island as you enter the Learning Center.  There is also an enclosed room, LC105, located in the back of the library with two accessible stations and a Braille embosser.

The Library West Computer Lab (formerly the Open Media Lab) located downstairs in the Learning Center West will also soon have two adjustable workstations for student use.

Assistive software and adjustable tables are available throughout the campus when needed.  Contact Wayne Chenoweth at 408.864.5817 as needed.
